How to locate old classmates for upcoming reunion?

I am trying to locate former classmates from LeConte Jr. High School in Holllywood, California. Our 50th reunion is coming up. We are the class of 1957. Most websites charge for this service. Does anyone know which websites I can use without paying a fee? Thank you for any help you can offer. And thank you in advance because the folks who help, I cannot reply and say Thanks.

Reply:Facebook (http://www.facebook.com) is the only free site I can think of. That tends to attract a younger crowd though, so I don't know how many people from 1957 you'll find there.





I think Classmates (http://www.classmates.com) would be your best bet. I just tried to find the free trial link and found a bunch of people complaining that they had problems canceling their accounts after the trial ended. Seemed like something you should at least be aware of.

Honestly - it might be worth the few bucks if you really want to get at them.

Reply:About classmates.com. I got an account there and it lists all the people in my class. However you can only contact the people that also had a classmates account. Waste of money. Sorry, but a Jr. High 50 year reunion sounds kinda weird.
