Why do my classmates keep on teasing me about being ugly/fat?

I don't know why... This started when I was a kid and it never stopped... Any girl who is the same age as me says I'm ugly... Ironically, older girls says I'm cute... So does other people that are not my classmates... Now I'm 14 and they haven't stopped teasing me... I haven't had any success with any girl so far and my confidence about myself is very low... I am not popular and I am not a snob... I couldn't say I was a bad guy (never was, never will be)... I couldn't say I'm an underachiever because I am second in my class, in a band and a swimmer... But no one appreciates this, hence, they keep on teasing me...

I'm filipino too! :D I like to think that the only reason anyone would make fun of another person is because they're jealous.
Reply:I don't think you look ugly or fat. No, I'm not older than you. I'm the same age as you. They're probably doing that to fit in with other girls and not look like a loner and/or they're jealous of you. It's most likely to fit in. Don't let them get your confidence down. Prove them wrong by joining a swim team or sports and winning a trophy (if you are in high school. If not, then next year in high school). Make friends with girls, so that those girls can help stop your teasing. Sorry, if I coudn't be of much help to you.

Reply:They teas you because they're stupid, naive, and judgmental. They could be spread-in rumors about you in school so no girls will talk to you, or try to get to know you. But at your age relationships shouldn't a big worry.





And depending on the label they gave you, your classmates may not like you for that alone. I looked at your picture 'N' your not ugly not fat. But truth be told, depending on the ages of these 'older girls' they may just be telling you your cute in a puppy-dog way.





All 'N' all it doesn't matter what they think of you. Because once you find someone who won't pick on you or teas you, you know you'll have a good friend...

Reply:They tease you be they are immature. When you are much older this shouldn't be a problem.





Stick to your studies, keep working hard, the right girl and friends will come along for you eventually.

Reply:oh god. tell them to shut up. this may not be the advice your looking for, but seriously, if anyone ever teases you tell them to grow up and stop trying to insult others in order to boost their own confidence and make themselves think their brain is larger than the size of a walnut.





im 17 and i've been in band since the 5th grade. i'm a CSF swimmer and went to junior olympics for an outstanding 400 meter butterfly. i used to be make fun of all the time and still am by people who dont know me. trust me, no one wants to ever call me names.





there is nothing wrong with you, kid. gain some confidence and girls will notice. your 14. girls can be idiots and as shallow as a puddle at that age. one day you'll find a cool girl who likes you.

You need not to let it bother you so much. if you wish to change what you look, just think positive about yourself and keep yourself hygentically clean and healthy. I started to look a little better myself. Don't think of what others thinks of you, think only for yourself when it comes to appearances.
