Reunion.com or Classmates.com.... are they worth the price?

I signed up for the "free" parts of Classmates and Reunion.com just to find a couple of old friends (which I did)...but now I keep getting all these Emails saying people are looking for me...but all they want is for me to pay to see who these people are... I guess I am asking if there are really people looking for me or is it just an advertisement tactic to get me to join as a true member of the sites? Is it worth it?

No, you just get spammed.
Reply:Check out facebook.com --- totally free and very well worth it! Not all be BS of MySpace and very easy to find folks you know, knew or want to know! Report It

Reply:No! When they say someone left a message for you, but then tell you that you have to PAY to read it, that is dumb. They should be charging the person to leave the message if anything.
Reply:They are just trying to get you to pay for it. I've never used the site but some friends of mine have and this happened to them. I could care less about what my former classmates are doing now...oh what...there is this one guy...he is so sexy. Anyway, don't waste your money on that crap.
Reply:Classmates is pretty much obsolete now with myspace out. I did classmates gold and it was a waste. MySpace is the way to go.
Reply:Depends on how much you want to stay in touch with people you went to high school with.

For me, it's not worth it.
