Math class calculus 1. Why do my classmates rarely ask questions during class?

Iam in calculus 1, and Iam failing because I have various years I have not seen math.

This is formal university.. and Ive noticed that my classmates never ask questions.. yet I dont think they will all fail the class.. I woudl tend to think the mayority will pass.

Does this happen to you guys? How would these people pass? Why does it happen?

they may be embarrassed to ask questions...but maybe go see the professor during their office hours. Are you in college? If so, you paid GOOD money for that class...ask all the questions you have to in order to understand the material!!

Good luck!!
Reply:Maybe they just pay attention in class..!
Reply:You're there for yourself; don't worry that others don't ask questions. In fact, you can look at it as being good for you -- if others don't ask questions, the instructor will have more time to answer your questions.
