My classmates are saying I have a crush on my best guy friend (which is half true) what can I do?

It really hurts when people say you have a crush on your best girl friend or guy friend. On Friday, May 11th, my classmates were talking about something, and I wanted to know what they were talking about. When they were talking/ whispering and I turned around, they pretended that they weren't. And I heard, "Jennifer told me that Mollie has a secret crush on her best guy friend" I was so shocked, and it was half-true, how can Jennifer say this! And I didn't tell her anything!

Best thing is to do nothing at all. Ignore them would be the best thing. If you start talking there will be a fight down the road.

Girls are often somtimes very gossipy and stories get changed around, are you sure she didnt hear it from someone else? or was she just doing it to hurt ur feelings? Ask her where did she get this peice of info. or why would she want to say that about you? And about the guy, tell him how you feel it might feel akward, but.......... its always worth a try and maybe he has the same feelings about you! If ur to scared to tell him ask i close friend to tell him for you!

Reply:For 5 years I had a crush on my best guy friend. Recently, I made a move that suggested becoming closer. What I thought was going to make us closer actually tore us apart. I mean it was HORRIBLE!!!!! We didn't talk or hang out for months after, and we even sat beside each other in class! My suggestion, stay friends. If you want to be around him and not feel weird, stay "just friends". Luckly, I and my guy friend made up and are still good friends. Just last night, a group of us went to the carnival. Me and Chris got paired up as ride buddies without even trying to be paired up. We turned out to have the best fun out of all of our friends. Its those memories that you will cherish more.
