S Am i being paranoid?

i am a philosophy student and just new at it, i was always a loner like i dont drink with friends, i dont go out except when im with my family im 19 , and i just dont feel like it, so my classmates thought that i didnt join their club because they think i am too proud and arrogant, someone told me to be careful when eating outside cause they are planning to do something with my food, and they dont like the fact that i love asking questions at our philosopher instuctor because i really want to learn, they said i was nonsense, and because i look like a goth, and wear black all the time, they said i wasnt fit to be a philo student,i dont know what i did to deserve that threat in my life. like they would poison my food or something, and just because i said to two of my classmates that i dont want a boyfriend when they courted me. i dont know what to say to this people. im glad someone warned me about their plan, but now i feel so sad

True friends to not set out to hurt you or your feelings. You have the right to be whatever or whomever you want to be.You might want to consider having the law come in on this.
Reply:No they just are in the wrong area. I mean in most college philosophy classes you get a mix of people with all different ideas and views. They are taking this class because they have to or need the credits. I may suggest not asking to many questions. The truth is if one does ask to may questions it aggravates the instructor and the class just write down the ones you want to know more about and after class ask your instructor where you can get more information on the topics you would like to follow up on. Good luck. I am sure they are not going to poison your food. I mean I don't think that any of them want to go to jail.
Reply:First of all it's not down to your classmates to decided what you learn, wear or do.

Approach your teachers and explain to them of the threats made against you.

Keep on learning girl,ask.

They don't like to ask because they may appear stupid in front of there mates?.

The only stupid question is the one that's never asked.
Reply:if u are a loner, that is ur individual personality.

tell ur ignorant classmates, u don't need to join a group to enjoy philosophy.

what poison? contact the school authorities and police even if they think u are bonkers because that will deter anyone dong any harm to u.

how did these idiots come to study philosophy?

i guess u are a non- comformist and find it tough to believe anyone and to an extent find life hopeless.

i guess black clothes and goth style are a signal of that.

good luck.

i am a non comformist too. basically whatever ive been taught ive flushed it down the drain. i am a non conformist in action, not clothes and looks.

no matter what, stay happy.
Reply:look don't bother about others..just think n feel what u wish to do..if ur inner conscious is strong then no1's statement can harm u..it's ur life u have to decide what has to be done...don't just bother about others...the world will say many things but u no u r rite
