Are my classmates correct of being angry at me because of this?

Today, few of the aspiring students who run for position for our high school student organization conducted a campaign in our class. In the end, there was an open forum. As a graduating student, I want to challenge and test them, on their future performance as a student organization officer (they're Second Year students, and I am a Fourth Year Student, High School here in the Philippines) so I made a little something. Because all my other classmates just went into asking the sophomores then they'll answer back, I did this: I stood up and asked: "If you're in a camp, and you're already in position, and you see me crumple and tore this piece of paper and just throw the rubbish on the air(which I did)....what will you do? How will you deal with me? With the situation? It was just a test for me, but the aspiring President walked out and cried and he said he's offended, and my classmates agreed with him and got angry at me. It was no malice and just a clean challenge.D'you think I'm wrong?

Wrong? Sure. A jerk? Yes. You're leaving, so why do you really care? You were just being a pompous know-it-all for no reason other than to show off.
Reply:No.. you tried to bring something different and they reacted that way? You shoudn't be punished for them being scared of whats different.
Reply:i think your fellow president who cried is the biggest pussy i have heard of and the other people just agree with him cause they feel sorry for him. dont pay attention to them when you graduate go to college make friends and it wont be a big deal anymore.
