Classmates vs. [Actual] friends?

I just got a text message from a classmate of mine saying that that we are classmates not buddies. I wonder what she meant by that. I mean, I was just trying to become her friend, but she specifically told me that she wanted to keep the conversations of her school and personal life separate.

I told her, "Look, I do not know what went on w/ you and your friend and the LSD the other day, but I just want to prevent you from doing anything harmful."

What should I do? Do you think I should keep talking to her again?

Classmates vs. [Actual] friends?
she just wants to be classmate buddies but when you two are out of class she doesn't want to do anythin with you. not tryin to be rude i think that wat she means.if ur worried bout her y don't u talk to ther and let her know ow u feel
Reply:Duh- you aren't even her friend and you're trying to make her feel bad about taking drugs?

That is who she is, and you are not her 'type' of friend.

She doesn't want to be saved-
Reply:Do you two hang out... outside of school? Or at least hang out in school? Or do you just talk in class or here and there... just purely casual?

Based on that your are not friends. Why do you want a friend like that anyways? I just think you have romantic interest in this girl. Otherwise, just go find someone who will be a better friend.

I think people should keep their lives out the public scene in general, yet if they just not an unapproachable person then why bother with them.
Reply:i dont think this might be a real friend of you!!!you should find someone else to get closer and talk!!!i have also this problem and i decided to have friends out of my class!!I believe it because now my best friends are not from my classmates!!I think it worths it you can give it a tryyy!!!!
